    Unhappy Air Suspension help needed

    Fellow Marauder Owners,

    Good morning!

Im a little frustrated at the moment and could use some help.

I just installed a full air suspension system in my ride.
I replaced the air shocks, solenoids, rear shocks, compressor, and relay, and associated fuses but I still have no lift in the rear end.
And Yes, the switch is on.
With the moneys spent, i really would like to go back to the Air Suspension, and not switch to springs.
I believe that I am obviously missing something, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all!

Well my first question is with key on does compressor start? If not slide underneath rear end and check the ride height switch by moving it up.

A couple other things too: make sure doors are closed, roll drivers window down so you can just reach in to cycle the key,do these checks in a quiet environment so you can hear the relay click. It wouldnÂ’t hurt to have a helper sit in the car to cycle key cause you only have a minutes or so to check this stuff and then it cuts power to the compressor. The solenoids at the air bags should also click when they get powered up. I have used a small screwdriver to check electric solenoids. When the solenoid is powered up the screwdriver should stick to it

    thanks for replying!

No I have not checked the ride height switch. I am assuming that I do that by crawling under and lifting the car? or do I remove the switch?
Also, I have tried to listen for clicks, but fortunately for me I have a not so quiet supercharger (vortec) whistle which doesn't allow for me hearing the clicks. I will try to put hands on it tonight and see if it clicks at all, if not ill shoot the circuit and make sure I am getting voltages at the relay.
I also didn't know the door needed to be closed at the time as well. so ill be checking that out too.

ride height sensor is an arm that attaches to watts link on driver side. it is not a switch.

The bolts have been known to come loose (out), and this would be a great easy solve if this is the issue. Otherwise, power to compressor?

so i checked the relay, and am getting nothing on either of the pins. i should be getting voltage from the relay pin 30-87. jumping it does me no good either. where does it get the voltage from? is there a fuse that i am missing. I looked in the fuse diagrams and have checked the couple fuses associated with the air suspension, and they seem ok (replaced them anyway though). still nothing.

also, i am not getting the suspension light on in the cluster that many have said will come on if there is an issue?

What about the module behind in the glove compartment?

What is the history on the car, did it have coils in back and you are attempting to switch back to air? Or did the air ride stop working and you are trying to fix?

Pin 30 is the hot side, fed from F1.114 (30 Amp) in the BJB.

If jumping from 30 to 87 does nothing then you have one of three issues:

    1. Blown fuse. (Do you have voltage at pin 30?)
    2. A wiring issue or a connector issue at the compressor.
    3. Faulty compressor. (Do you have voltage at pin 4 of the compressor connector?
