The direct interchange is 01-03 CVPI and Marauder, 01-03 Town Car has the longer tailshaft too and is a direct fit. it just has different shift springs internally. But a JMod in a TC trans feels the same as a MM with a JMod. Most TC have not been as beat up as CVPIs. I have used an 03 CVPI and an 01 CVPI and a 03 TC trans in MMs with no problems. New filter and a JMod prior to install. The only external difference in 01-02 is they have a speedometer sensor in the tailshaft. Remove it and use the yellow plug from the MM in the tailshaft opening.
