I was gonna sell mine for 150.00 .... hmmm.. I agree 300 seems reasonable for a rebuilt and balanced shaft

I say said item is worth what someone wants to pay for it. For me, $300 would be that number. If it's more, then I'd spend the 1k on a CF driveshaft. That's what the op asked, opinions, instead we got justification for ridiculous pricing...lol.
Or spend half that and get the same results. Look, guy above just said he sold one for $700 two years ago. So there you go. $500 is fair. OP asked what a fair price is, I made a guestimate, but looks like I was spot on

and there is history of them selling for $130 -$140, so $500 is high, $300 for a fresh rebuiltone seems reasonable

got any links? Id like to see this "history." Only history I was aware of was that they were rare, hard to find, and highly sought after. Yeah, of course they were sold if some one didnt know what they were worth and gave it away...Doesnt change what the actual value is. Idk what else you want, guy just said he sold his for $700. $500 is not high lol.

where are you getting this supporting data??? Unfortunately "alternative facts" dont always work out too well in the long run....

unless youre talking about those super rare "toyota marauder" floor mats. I heard those go for wellll over $2k.

Thanks everyone. As I mentioned we settled on a fair price. There is no doubt in my mind it would sell for much more than we agreed upon if sold on ebay. All I know is that we have 2 satisfied parties and I was able to help out a fellow Marauder owner. I have passed the Unicorn Horn...
Car is soon to be for sale...

03 300A: Full SW exhaust (sold their crappy mufflers for $50 and replaced w/ Dynomax and factory tips), JLT, GMS connectors, NGK, 4.10, lowered, Zack fuel filter mod, Xcal tune, Musclemerc catch can. Non go fast stuff: Tint, Vinyl wrapped chrome, badgeless, spoiler, blendmount and hardwire V1, trunk organizer, factory changer, BC4E Dead pedal

Two years ago I bought a new dynotech 4" driveshaft for 600 plus shipping. $300 for your DS seems fair.

Guys around here are still finding these all the time at the junkyards for like $60...

    $500-$700 Vs a new Dynotech for $600?

    That's laughable.
