Arrow Looking for some help with this part....

    Hey every one

I was looking for a little help trying to hunt down the little clip shown in the Pic I attached.

This clip is used to retain the gauge pod in the Marauder consol. Every other time we take one apart this little clip brakes, cracks, becomes stressed or gets loose or lost.
Up until now I had extras that I don’t know where I got over the last few years. But about a month ago I wasted a day trying to hunt one of these down from the Ford dealers and small OEM parts venders locally and got no where.
Now I’m out of them and going be hurting the next time we need one. The one pictured is not exactly like the stock one on a MM but they work perfect and I had several of them new from Ford some how. So the one pictured is some kind of available replacement I’m thinking.

I thought I’d get lucky posting it here and maybe one of the members might know something about it or a part number. My local dealers and suppliers are awesome till this came along.

Thanks in advance if any one can help.

Hey Lidio, if you can pry them out of Logan's hands, I need two also. I am more than willing to pay for them.

For some reason Logan can't hear me. Or, he is just ignoring me like my ex-wife.....

Speaking of clips, does anyone have availability/part number for the plastic screw-in/push-in thingies that hold the radiator support cover in place?

They're available RF...they come 4 in a pack. I've got 3 if you need some. I got them through the parts counter at the Ford Dealer...like $6.

The part # for the upper radiator cover clip is W706519-S300.
    This is a Ford #.

Please post the exact part # because my dealer said they could not get them, and they never say that.

OK, I spend the better part of the afternoon, looking for the gauge clips. I work for a L-M parts departmant, and they just don't list the attaching parts. I looked in one of our suppliers(S & R fastener) hardware parts books and couldn't find it there either.
I wish I could help ya. I'll check with my Body shop Monday and see if they have anything.

Those suckers are the same ones that hold the trim fill piece above the door panel (opposite the mirrors). They tend to fall inside the door and rest at the bottom until rescued with a magnet.

    I need a couple too.

Thanks for the help so far. A part number would do the trick when and if some one can.

TAF... If you want to, drop one or two in an envelope, that would be great. PM me for some kind of payment method for parts/shipping.

    Thanks

Has anyone checked any other fastener sources, like Auveco?

Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.
