You can find some on eBay or at your local junkyard. These are plug-n-play and the steering wheel controls will work with them. You can specifically look for the 2005 Ford Escape radio. The audio is actually better than the OEM radio that came with our cars:

I found a guy on eBay who took factory radios and added blue tooth in them. He also ‘upgraded’ some of the interior electronics. Have had it now for 6-8 months and love the Bluetooth. The music has ever sounded so good in the car
