If this is true, what a waste of displacement. Torque numbers need to be huge to be worth while.

Now FORD offers big cube pushrod performance along with the already potent 4V Modular engines.
    Best of both worlds!

Although the new Godzilla engine looks great,
    I'm still putting a Gen 3 5.0 Coyote in my '85 GT.

If this motor was expected to rev it would have been a modular design.

Nascar engines turn 9500 with pushrods for 500 mile races, very few engine failures.

For the record I never said what "I" think I stated what "Ford" thinks.
Look at the video the official was asked the question on why it wasn't designed as a modular engine. His reply was exactly what I wrote.
I too have seen BBF's spin past 6K and I'm aware nascar engines live most of their lives at a high rpm.
You think Ford would put a nascar engine in a truck? NO!
You think Ford would put the money into designing a truck engine to rev past 6K? NO!
Will the aftermarket make it happen after the engine is released? YES!

Yep... look at the long runner intake.
It's going to be a torque monster, not a revver.
Just what a big, heavy truck needs.
