Methanol Lites Them Up!
The other day I was driving down a Hwy when a White 4 door cab F150 with loud exhaust guns it back and forth in the lane next to me. It's 6 lanes in this part and the traffic was light.
I run my race tune that uses Methanol to boost octane and drop temps a week per month to keep the Methanol pump running. Well it was on the race tune that day, plus it was a very cool dry day giving me good HP.
I gunned it half throttle while going about 40mph and despite my Detroit Truetrac the rear tires lite up requiring me to let up on the throttle.
Never even got up to the speed limit.
The 4 door cab F150 quickly dropped back, way back! End of encounter.
ps I don't street race I was just letting him know what I got.
