    Fuel requirements for 600hp

I bought an aeromotive 340 pump couple months ago with the intention of staying N/A and keeping my 03 mostly stock but since reading musclemercs recent tvs build I been having impure thoughts. Can that pump support 600 crank hp? Fuel and evap lines have been removed for restoration so I will do Zachs fuel filter mod and the wiring upgrades as well.

Ok thanks musclemerc I will look into a twin setup. By the way I was thinking about an M122 Eaton cause they can be had for a lot less than the newer GT500 superchargers. Everything is gonna cost me at least 30% more cause I live in Canada.

I have twins with a return fuel system and over 500 RWHP with no fuel problems. One 340 pump Id have to say no way.

M122 is the route I took. My stock bottom end would only hate life more with a tvs.
I over killed the fuel setup. Twin 340s
Boost a pump, 8an line/filter and bigger injectors. I'm not at 600hp but I would imagine my setup would handle it.

I agree the M122 is a lot of fun. Can't beat it for the cost.

Didn’t realize that would even work or work for very long anyway. Learn something every time I get on this site. I am worried about destroying that beautiful aluminum block. Been planning on buying a balanced rotating assembly so I can put it together in my garage.

The aluminum block is good for 800+ hp... it's the rotating stuff that needs attention and the tuning.

It's in the tune and your right foot. I don't beat my car up, and I know how to drive hard without abuse. Also a lack of traction keeps me from breaking it in 1st 2nd and 3rd.

A single 340 is good for roughly 450 at the wheels, per my experience and the experience of friends also running the aero 340.

I needed a return line. So I bought the earlier panther sending unit with return. I installed a walbro 450 on it. Replaced all the lines with e85 compatible hard line and a fuel lap filter and a boost referenced fpr.

But how about longevity? I hear horror stories even with the texsid block, and fellers going with a newer oem brand new boss block.

I know Jerrys car makes gobs of power, but its not a track car getting 20 passes every weekend.

Just wondering how long the wap block is good for 800 hp, it can be done, but how long does it last is what i wonder.

Well my situation is e85 not available and 1 gas station in town sells 93 octane. I figured 600hp at the crankshaft max cause from reading what some of you have said 500 at the wheels can be a handful to drive when you get on it. I emailed Hyland Motorsports 2yrs ago right after I bought the car asking what it would cost to get me to 375-400hp N/A and he said $15000. WTF! Body is lifted off frame about a foot so I have lots of room to work and make a a nice system. Any more suggestions ?

Run a dual fuel pump with return system, get it tuned when you install the blower.
Run a dual fuel pump like oem style, without return, and add a boost a pump.

Run a dual fuel pump and run twin FPDM.

Sump the tank and run a aeromotive a1000 with -16 feed..

If your not going to run mega hp, just leave the lines stock.
If your not going to buy a blower, just leave the lines stock.

You will need a built lower end for more than 449 rwhp. Just a suggestion.
And 15K was about spot on, because your paying for labor.
Blower kit 3k-8k motor build 2k-5k + labor.... 15k almost sounds good!
Thats like 50 bucks up thar in canada right?
