Exclamation HELP: hook up heater core with cooling mod!?

    Hey guys,

getting ready to throw my motor back in. Last time it was out I had the cooling mod done. But the guy who did it bypassed my heater core, so the COT is plugged off. I want to hook up my heater core again while I have it out! but I have no idea how to do it.. see what im talking about in this thread:

but the pictures are gone... can anyone help explain to me, which pipe is in and which is out on the heater core, and how should it be connected to the cooling mod? I would like to put the motor back in tomorrow after work!

can I take the hose that as of now runs from the head to the pipe that goes under the intake(see photo), and connect that to the IN on the heater core, and run the OUT from the heater core to the pipe that goes under the intake? Sorry if I sound dumb :c

Whatever I'm looking at is a hack job. Where is the tube under the intake? The drivers side cooling mod fitting has one too many ports.

The tube that comes from under the intake is going into the top of the fitting on the passenger side, the drivers side fitting only has one port. It looks like it has two but that is actually the tube that runs under the intake.

It doesn't matter in or out. It's just a tiny radiator. Mine is reversed from stock because I liked the fitment of the hoses better. To each their own but my heat works plenty fine..

that makes sense. What about the pipe that goes under the intake to the water pump, is that supply or return? Seems theres some confusion on that..

Hook the line out of the driver head to the lower port in the pass head. Then the top port on pass head into the heater core other port out of heater core to the tube that goes under intake.
