I have been test driving my BC4E dead pedal for exactly one month, now. It took me 2 seconds to get used to it, and if it disappeared now I would not be able to drive my car. I love it, though I have to admit that I hadn't even thought about it at all for about 3 and a half weeks till yesterday when I realized once again that it was there. I did two things with my KB dead pedal...added two more holes with welded nuts (just like original set) closer to floor board...about 3/4"...so the pedal braket mounts closer to the floor board...hope that makes sense...
I also asked my dealer to tighten the emergency brake setting during one of my service visits...
