As there are several members who have tried the Falken Ziex S/T Z01 tires with success, I moved them to the common combinations list.

I begining to wonder if my Snow tires are of good enough spec for use on my Marauder. I keep thinking I'm having rear shock problems or I have a flat tire but I look and check and they are fine. But recent threads about sidewall flex has me wondering.

Is it broke down by all season and "summer" tires?

I think 03mmonroe is running them in the rear.

I just put on a new set of General Grabber UHP's on the back of the Bluesmobile, and I'm pleased with looks and performance so far. (Running OEM BFG's up front)

The tires are not classified as such, but I do discuss the significance of tire type. I'll capture it in the todo and if you're willing, you're welcome to create a tire type column in the table.

Please provide an update once you have put a couple thousand miles on them. I've added a todo to the guide to capture these pending positive feedback. Thanks for providing the specs!

Will do, the run out to MVVI and back should be a good indicator.

I'm running the Hankook Ventas RH06 255/55/18's on the rear of my MM. Have lotsa miles on them, they handle great, minimal road noise and fantastic wear.

This is what they look like

    Specs:
    Speed Rating - Y
    Treadware - 420
    Traction - A
    Temperature - A

www.eastcoasttires.co has them for $125.00 ea.

Hello, I have read and re read this post as I want to put steelies on for the winter. I have choosen General Grabbers uhp 225/70r16 for the rear and 235/60/r16 for the front. from what I read these should work without giving me any tc problems. Are these close enough in size or am I figuring this out all wrong. I think I understand the whole 35% thing as far as the outer limits are concerned.Great site by the way.

Thanks! The 35% number is a conservative guestimate and applied to one way of calculating the difference. The tire combination you list is nearly spot on to the stock difference, so you should have no problems. At 60 MPH, you'll have only about -.4 MPH error (meaning, your speedo will show .4 MPH faster, which is negligible. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about snow tires, so I don't have a recommendation for good makes/models or sizes, etc.

Just a thought, you may want to create a thread to ask other members what they've had successes with for snow tire make/model and sizes.
