    Black Bird re-tune

Well we all had a great time at Carrabbas, Tom and Cathy Billy and me and Sheila, today Billy showed up to have his car checked, this car has a 03 reman Cobra motor Vortech SC with a A/A 60 lb injectors 05 GT Maf in a blow though configuration built trans 3500 stall and Cobra exhaust with 4:10's. The IAT is built into this Maf element and it went bad so he had it replaced, and thought he would have every thing checked before race season. Billy got a complete clear bill of health on his engine and transmission oil analysis.

Billy just upgraded to a 8 Rib set up with a Innovator dampener, he runs two tunes one for 93 octane one for race and watter meth, so we first checked the street tune and found the AF 10 to 1 and ind it made 407 at 16 PSI so we leaned it out 12% the car gained over 50 RWHP, next we ran the race tune and it made 504 RWHP same thing AF in the 10's leaned it out the car made 550 RWHP so he is on his way home.

Could be because, since the alt. is raised, the support over the alt comes in contact with the hood liner.

My guess, sometime it slung a belt and damaged the hood liner, the pad is to cover the damage and protect it from future occurrences.
