Those are generally for boosted cars, boost gauge, iat gauge, air/fuel wideband, fuel pressure etc.

but you can add whatever gauges you want, you don't have have boost. there is a company that makes 2 and 3 gauge pods that screw into the factory ones, it does not replace it and they come color matched

The 300A vs. 300B distinction is only meaningful for the 2003 MM because of the mid-production changes that were made. Features on the 2004 MM parallel those of the 300B from 2003 plus the dual knock sensors, bare aluminum cam/valve covers, and the transmission swap to the 4R75W.
