That's about the right amount of time if you do it the correct way.

    Arrow Maintenance

Just completed the bi-annual (spring and fall) battery maintenance. This consists of cleaning the battery after removing it, cleaning clamps, checking connections, then charging the battery with a Battery Tender. Everyone should know how a Smart Charger works, in that it pushes the normal charge well beyond to 80% the alternator normally (or should) keeps it at. Increases capacity, CCA, cleans the plates and increases longevity. Marauder is happy. Mustang's battery hooked up at the moment.

    Thumbs up Fire Extinguisher

Added these yesterday to Marauder, Mustang and Ranger. Hoping I never use'em but they are available if necessary. Kidde 10BC Auto-Marine Fire Extinguishers.

Had to install a new battery as the old one was crapping out on me. Started it up yesterday and had a hard time cranking up. Popped hood and could see some corrosion around the positive terminal. Cleaned it off with baking soda/water mix and a tooth brush. Leaving the house today to meet a friend for lunch and again, hard to crank up. After lunch stopped at Auto Zone and their battery tester said battery was bad. Battery was somewhere between 6 and 7 years old, so not that surprised it finally crapped out.

Engine bay looks nice! A bit of background would be interesting, along with some dyno numbers.
