    MIR / it was fun

Went to MIR this past weekend with Chris & Sherman baby sitting me. Rained Friday ( oh well ), Saturday the wind was blowing pretty good and they were only running 1/8 mile. As it turned out it may have been a good thing for me as I have not been to the seat for a while. With the changes Chris has done for me I don't think I was up to snuff for the up grades, Glad they were there to help. I kept coming off the pedal all day but I was learning, Thanks guys. Sunday was full 1/4 mile sunny with a little wind, 60 & nice. The day went well but I had trouble hooking up and keeping my foot down even after changing tires so it was all me. By the end of the day I did do my personal best with a 10.753 @ 131.02 and Tuesday after work I am going to Atco by myself for some seat time, work on lowering that number before Atlanta in three weeks. THANKS, CHRIS & SHERM

We got that baby launching now! Now need to figure out traction.

I think it was launching so hard it was pulling John's foot off the pedal. And when the nose dropped the tires would spin. Gotta get a frame grab off the video with daylight under the front tire.

Go get some good practice at Atco, hopefully find the right air pressure for the tires and then lets go kick some butt in Atlanta.

Oh yeah and here is the slip. Left lane R211
