RAS delete: suncor or piece together parts for conversion

ok say what you will but i'm going "poverty" coils. this isn't my collector car garage queen, its my daily driver and needs to function as such. I don't have the time or money to keep throwing at the RAS system trying to figure WTF is the issue ($200+ for the height sensor? FOH!!!!).

so with that said i was looking at conversion kits. I also want to replace the front shocks while i am at it. the heavy duty kit from suncor will run $180 for 4 shocks and rear coils.

is there a better option out there if i piece together a kit for around the same price? IE: better shocks? I want to retain that factory rake to the car. i rarely haul anything nor have a car full of people. I do have the addco front and rear sway bars.

This kit contains everything except the air lines, RAS module and ride height sensor.

comes with everything except the 3 things that could be wrong with my car. lol. i dont have the money to throw at THIS car right now. I got two other cars that need stuff. rather just convert, save money and throw the parts into a box if i ever wanna go back.

Whatever you decide, just don't butcher the system in case you (or a future owner) wants to restore it.

everything i've done on this car is reversible. i even had fastblackmerc make me up some harnesses for the fog lights when i did my HID conversion. I've never sold a car yet thou. i'll be keeping it.

if it was the compressor or bags i would have already fixed it. its probably with the module or sensor. i really dont wanna piss around with used stuff or spend 200 on a sensor that might be the issue. im engine swapping my monte SS and my hurst need a tranny so i just cant spend the time and money to fix the RAS. tired of my back feeling like crap from the bouncy ride so its getting converted ASAP.

I appreciate the replies but the RAS is done for now. I just need recommendations/feedback per my original inquiry.

i went with monroe severe duty shocks and moog cargo coils.

i dont see why this is such a taboo thing everytime someone talks about doing this swap when SO MANY cars on here are modded in ways that far deviate from originality

If it's your car do whatever the hell you want. I would not want an all original muscle car over that same car resto modded. But some people love originality and that's ok too.

I just recently did the conversion kit from Air Springs to Coils (Suncore). Two things, air suspension light stays on and maybe a little wheel hop...

I'll was thinking of switching over to this once my RAS kicks the bucket.

I want height adjustability for the front and rear. The threaded adjuster does need to be welded on, however.
