    High Volume Water Pump

So, I'm just checking my research out. I'm getting ready to replace the timing chains/guides/tensioners/etc. While I'm at it, I'm going to replace the water pump.

Are these two the correct choice? Short style, correct?

Why not just use one from Ford?

I have the EMP Stewart and if I recall I was impressed with it's quality. The impeller looked much more efficient that the OEM Ford.

The Ford part works just fine.....I have the EMP Stewart one and have seen no real advantage over the OEM pump!!

    Spent your money elsewhere!!

If I recall correctly there was a higher flow OEM Ford water pump. Maybe it came on Navigators? I also have an aftermarket pump, from Evans. I didn't see any real benefit.
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:

I plan on gradually upping the power of this motor, and taking it down the drag strip quite a bit. So I really want to up the cooling capacity.
