Is this 100% the blower motor?

So, 91 degrees today, I drove 150 miles up to Madison with the AC on, then made it about 75 miles back home with the AC still going when it just stopped blowing. Got no AC except a faint breeze of it in "NORM AC" setting while the car was in motion on the highway, got nothing as we slowed or stopped. Got home, check three fuses that could be EATC or blower related inside the cabin, they all looked good, then swapped the 40A blower motor fuse (301) with another one in the same fuse box under the hood, that didn't work. Then even gave the blower a few good taps which also got me nowhere. Also, did the EATC self test twice, nothing but 8's. Did I miss any possibilities? Any other tests or things I could check to be positive. Or have I done it all and it's time to invest in a new blower motor? (Ps, if it's pertinent information, I've never replaced the blower motor before, and the car currently has about 175k miles on her, 75k I put on.)

Try tapping the blower control module "bcm" on the fire wall just to the right of the heater core if your facing the firewall.

    What he said ^^^

Also set the fan control to high and check the voltage at the blower motor...should be a full 12V. If so, then the blower motor is bad; if not, then prolly the BCM or (less likely) the EATC itself.

give it rap with a screwdriver handle, if the blower works, then it means the BCM is bad (solder joint over time goes bad.cracks) there is a write up on here with pics to show how to change it.

Last time I changed the blower motor resistor I managed to get one for about 30$, sounds like it's the culprit in your case as well as others have suggested.

FYI, cars with EATC don't have a resistor, it's a PWM controller. Cars with manual HVAC have a conventional resistor pack.

Ok, well it's not the blower motor, however, rapping on the BMC did not move the blower at all. So is it still the BCM then? (I jumped the blower to the battery and it started right up lol)

I still think the BCM is suspect.

    It could be the EATC.
