    Question Squeaky Drivers Seat

Does anyone else have problem with a squeaky drivers seat? It squeaks on bumpy roads and lanes changes (lateral movement). I took it to the dealer and they replaced the seat rails on it. But sure enough in a couple of days it started squeaking again. I'm scheduled to go back in again in a couple of days. I'm tempted to tell them to replace the entire seat, but I don't know if that will do any good. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

No, but I have a problem with a squeaky front PASSENGER seat. It only squeaks when someone sits in it- on bumpy roads and lane changes like yours. I've got a feeling it's the metal coils inside the seat itself, not the seat rails. BTW, my car is a CV not a MM but it sounds (sorry- bad pun) like we both have the same problem.

Only squeaking I hear from the passenger side, is from my G/F when I hit WOT on any on-ramp. After we settle into traffic, she kinda shivers a bit, smiles, says "thanks," and lights a cigarette. WTF...

I got to get her a seat cover, if this continues, it's gonna leave a stain...

I had my Marauder serviced 2 months ago for the squeaky seat problem. The dealer claimed that 3 out of 4 bolts were loose on the rails. This reduced the noise factor by 10, but I still experience squeaky front passenger seats.

The only squeak I hear in ours is the seat rubbing on the console, if I put my hand between the two the squeaking stops.

Modding the G/F isn't a problem, Bill, she's become quite...umm...flexible? Anyone ever check out just how flat these front seats fold back! BTW, she has mentioned how "practical" a Kilt seems to be.

What I need to do, is mod my clout with the DOT. Everything between my home and her's, is an off ramp. When I do get her "booty call," by the time we get back to my place, she's asleep!

I just have to move, find myself an address that places a small airport, or, landing field between our homes. All the on-ramps we've shared so far, have been trips to suburban outlet malls, need I remind any of us what follows her...cigarette?

Strolling through a shopping mall with a depressed woman who soothes herself with a buying frenzie, (I know, I've been married) will never hold a candle to the jog through of a happy woman...Never.

Thank the Lord for plastic, I just hope she sticks around until I pay off the balance...LOL.

And thank the Lord too, for my mods. As long as I keep adding s**t to my MM, I'm good to go. The G/F loves my "testing" rides, but she's always whispering in my ear, some nonsense about a "dyno ride," or, a "ride on a dyno." What ever...Some women just don't get RWHP, or torque numbers. They...Oh, nevermind.

The ricers at GRD are gonna love this...

That's not the squeaking I was refering to, but I'm not opposed to squeaking as by product of G/F Mod.

    G/F Bone Stock
    No Squeaks

    G/F Stage One Mods - 2 Drinks
Brief Squeak followed by an "I love you!"

    G/F Stage Two Mods - Flowers + 4 Drinks
Squeak may come and go for up to 4 to 5 minutes.

G/F Stage Three - Flowers + 4 Drinks + Something Gold and Expensive
Squeak persists for duration of ride or 7 minutes whatever "comes" first!

These mods were validated by many dyno runs over the years, individual results may vary!

You guys are funny, I just hope they can fix my real squeak without all of the floral, alcohol, and something gold and expensive!
