2013 F150 XLT, 3.5l twin turbo V6, automatic, cloth seats, carpet, alot of the bells and whistles, 22K miles, for about $22k.

Will be test driving both in the next day or two.

Don't plan on any towing / off roading, will be a DD, less than 300 miles a week.

Opinions on which one to buy?
They wanted so much for the older ones I decided to just get a new. Used was going to be my first choice.

    Uh huh.

My 3rd Dodge. All great. Barely an issue with any of them. Hemi is a beast. Best looking truck on the road. Beautiful interior. Drive it before you decide to trash it for no apparent reason.

New 96 Ford Ranger I already spoke about. Complete and total crap. 6000 miles of misery. One off lemon? Maybe.

2 new Chevys from the 90's. Ok, not great. Lost transmission. GM argued about it on a 30k mile truck. REALLY?

So bottom line is I have tried them all (not to mention Big 3 cars) and don't trash the other makes for pride or whatever makes people so critical of other people's choices. Just the facts.

    Enjoy the F-150!

Tom I had the unpleasure of having a brand new loaded early 2000’s Ram 1500 crew as a work truck for about three years. When it wasn’t in the shop I found it to be the most uncomfortable, unreliable, and worst braking truck I’d ever driven.

You can argue that a lot has been approved upon in fifteen years or so but considering they have been building them since 1914 then I would have thought the first ninety years or so would have made quite the truck by 2003. Lemon? Perhaps. But Dodge has always been the underdog when truck talk comes up, plus by far lowest amount sold. Must be other reasons besides my experienced review.

I’ve had chevy’s and Ford’s, never had a Dodge, and the way that company has been changing hands, it’s just makes things look uncertain. And.... I see 3yo dodge trucks with rotted out beds/cab corners and rockers , it makes me believe that I was right in taking a pass. Not to say they are ugly, but the design is just not for me.

They all have their positives and negatives. Chrysler has been better to me than GM and Ford by a long shot.

Rust? Wow, I've never seen a rusted out GM or Ford.

    Future of GM..... Good grief.

I had a 2000 and an 04. 2000 never broke and the 04 broke the front pinion. That was it.
My 17 I bought with 16k miles. Checked for warranty repairs. Nothing. No issues since I have had it last 3k. Runs, steers, brakes, and looks great. Gobs of effortless power. 8 speed shifts like a dream.
