    9 second Marauder

I just saw this picture in Hemmings Muscle Machine magazine. It was taken during Musclepalooza in September. We went on to win the event in the 9.99 and quicker class.

He sold the bbc last year I think. Last time this car had a ford crate motor and a centri blower. Although the air filter sticking out of the hood says it’s a different setup now lol. The bbc car he had ran low 8’s.

You are right sailsmen. 582 CI, BBC with Brodix SR 20 heads and left it N.A. It put out 1100 crank HP @ 7100 rpm and 881 torque @ 5200.It runs 9.04 @ 148 with no problems after 45 runs. He sold his last bbc with centri combo making 2400hp at the crank.

I still have the other marauder with the "mod motor" .I was able to get 1 run in with the new intake before the track closed .it ran 9.31 @ 154 mph. It is back at Dez Racing being tuned to get more low end power.
