    Eibach Spring Install Instructions?

    Hey Guys,
Could someone give a detailed description as to how to remove and re-install new Eibach springs for the front? Or lead my to an already existing thread that describes front spring install? I am thinking of tackling this myself and just trying to get a feel as to how much time I am going to be spending in my driveway. I am a mechanically inclined person, so I am also wondering how long it will take a mechanically inclined person who is taking his time to make sure he does it right.

    Thanks guys!

Your looking at 3-4 hrs. Pretty straight forward process for anyone mech. inclined.
BTW removing the lower control arm isn't needed, its a tight fit but the spring/shock will fit out.

This thread may provide some insight on changing the springs once you get the coilover assembly out of the car.

I haven't removed or reinstalled them in the car yet so that part I dunno about.

a torch and large pry bar will be your friend. took me an hour and a half but i was working at my shop with all the tools i need.
all you have to do is remove caliper/rotor, remove sway bar link, remove upper ball joint nut, strut top nuts and lower shock bolt. then pry down the lower control arm and pop the strut out. i had to heat the **** out of the upper balljoint nut to get it off but aside from that. it was smooth sailling.

I don't know if I am going to have the time or the patience for this haha... I am very busy with an EMT class right now so I may pay to have it done professionally and have it done at a place that can align... Kill two birds with one stone to carfixer's spec!
