I edited the post. I am told I will likely need a hood mod to accommodate.

Investigating now. It is legal for late model GT500, but I expect an emissions appeal will be required for the 2004 Marauder. I saw one today at BRG Racing on a Shelby GT500. A liquid cooled unit which produces 619 rwhp!

I hear they go past 1000 hp.

OMG, the black and polished unit is hot.

A gt500 is a 5.4 or 5.8 pending model year. Hate to spend $4 k for just a blower only go be declined by CARB

The one you have linked now won't work either. It is for a '96-'98 cobra and runs at 7psi. There are members here that have whipples on their MMs but as said above won't have a CARB exemption for an MM. Best off staying with the vortech kit.

Other option would be to defect from Cali and do whatever you want

these seem to be what they offer for an 03-04 Cobra. This would replace the Eaton, using remaining required Eaton swap parts.

The 'Mammoth' series appears to have the air inlet on the driver side like stock MM. though..
