    Cost of oil filter adapter..?

Anyone got an idea what the cost is for the oil filter adapter...?
I believe it's the piece that connects the oil filter to the engine...
I had an oil leak and my local ford dealer replaced it for only $646.00..

ANOTHER QUESTION: they said my oil pan has SEEPAGE... Is this OK????

    Thanks folks...

That oil leak was ONLY a $9.00 gasket. The housing doesn't leak every time, you should have ran this repair past us, or asked on the marauder Facebook page

Labor was probably a major part of the bill. When I did mine I had to drain coolant and oil, then pull off PS pump just to get to the part for replacement. Then after replacing the part you need new coolant, oil, filter.

Hopefully they burped the cooling system properly or you're fixin' to have overheating problems.

    Seepage, leakage, tomayto, tomahto.

I had to replace the filter adapter because it was cracked where the pressure switch was located.

    People get confused by this.

There is a oil filter adapter that leaks. Adapter - Ford (9W7Z-6881-E)
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-OEM-En...-/191297720020 (Picture #19)

The there is the Oil Cooler Gasket, Adapter Seal, Support Gasket, Gasket
for the oil cooler that also leaks. https://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-OEM-En...FZ4pg3&vxp=mtr
    (picture # 3)

The first repair costs way more in labor to fix. I believe that is the part repaired in this original post.

I too believe it's #19. The engine oil filter adapter housing, that is cooled with coolant....

All that other stuff you posted, I've never seen any of that stuff under the hood of my marauders... where is that exactly?

Ford quoted me $375 here in GA; mines leaking, too.

    Kinda easy replace.
