I respectfully suggest if one can not find the a/c compressor then one has no business changing the sensor.

I welcome your feedback on this thread.
    My thoughts:
The Marauder community is shrinking and not as vibrant as it used to be since the "golden days" of original owners, etc. When people show up asking how to fix theirs (I.E. keep theirs on the road) I don't see what's so hard about providing a little assistance and being welcoming.

We have a basic understanding on CVN that the tech sections are sort of a no-flame zone unless the person is asking a ridiculous question like "how do I make my car run 11s for $300?" or "where is the cop chip" etc. This thread wasn't really one of those instances. A similar rule here might alleviate some of that, or make moderation more clear-cut. That's for the owners to decide and I've initiated discussion at the request of another member.

I guess it'd just be nice if some people could take a breath before hitting "submit reply" and others could grow a thicker skin, and we could all understand that not all of us can rebuild an entire motor with a crescent wrench like Zack.
That's compromise as I see it.

Ok I have to comment on this thread! How simple minded and soft can some here be? How difficult is it to remove/loosen the A/C compressor and remove a sensor retained by one bolt?

It amazes me at how sensitive and delicate a bunch of so called grown azz men can be! if you ask for help then turn around and don't take said help/advice take your shat to dealership and pay whatever your billed!

And if you have no idea where the A/C compressor is located your in over your head!

There is no need to insult a member telling them they are so dumb, they should sell the car and get a Kia. The issue is not about being a 'grown man';it is about being a considerate, respectful adult. If you cannot help, stay off the thread.

Guys, I'm pretty sure ALL of your mothers taught you when you were little that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. If you don't want to help the OP, then just STFU. Remember, we were ALL noobs once and we've all asked basic questions along the way.

Get some tools, look under the hood, figure it out.

Open hood, remove belt, find ac compressor and remove bolts from compressor to gain access to the crank sensor. Remove and replace crank sensor

Reverse order the other stuffs .....

    Not rocket science
I still think it's funny, so I'll quote myself just for giggles

Maybe I should change it to, Prius..... lol

    Guys.
If your post doesn't have to do with the initial post, please stop responding. This isn't hard. If you want to make fun of someone, take it to PM, email, or a dimly lit parking lot.
