Smile I just bought an 04 Crown Vic Sport

I now have as my daily driver a nice 2004 DTR Crown Vic Sport. I found it on Cars.com located in Poughkeepsie N.Y. at a Cadillac / Chevy dealer.
Roy L. Pita was kind enough to run an OASIS report on it for me. They were asking $15,000, and I bought it for $13,500 with 33,000 miles on it. It looks like it was very well maintaiined.
I know it's not a Marauder, but it is the next best thing. And that's the story of my life. Never the best, but always a step above. Besides, this was more practical for me. Much cheaper than a MM, and it runs on regular gas, which helps at these prices.
It was killing me when a member here was selling his gorgeous Blue Marauder, as that has been what I really wanted. But I'd hate to kill it drivng back and forth to Manhattan every day.
My daily driver: '04 DTR Crown Vic Sport !

    Wahr wahr My little DTR

    I'm gonna turn it on
    Wind it up
    Blow it out

Congrats, I am also a proud, yet regretful owner of a 04 LXSport. They are great cars, still a looker, just not as much under the hood. For now!

Congrats on your purchase, Phil. May it keep a smile on your face as much as the MMs do around here.

Btw, I'm glad to be of help to my friends and members here.
    (#6178 in black per FPIC)
Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:
    Alex "Marauderboi" Vachon 3/2/92-8/13/10
    Paula Babineau 1/9/67-8/2/11
    Rex Weinbender

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

    Welcome to the club!
Brian/RoyL.Pita gave me the same help w/a black '04 CV LX Sport that I picked up for my 17 yr. old Daughter. It's a beauty and a big thanks again to Brian for the assist!

I see you're in Deer Park - the LI meets should start looking a little more crowded!

There is a black CV Sport in my neighborhood that I see sometimes and it always makes me do a double take. They are visually very similar to my eyes.
    White Lightning Kiarauder:
2011 Kia Forte EX Minisculus Pimpmobilius Extremus
Built-in Nav, Bluetooth, USB port, aux/ipod jack, ]2 power ports and Sunroof! six speed auto trans w/ Sportmatic, dead pedal, rear-view camera. Voice cmd for radio, sat, nav, cell phone and MP3.
Four very muscular, steroid-enhanced, genetically mutated, Mountain Dew injected, wild racing hamsters cavorting under the hood.

That's why my Blue is now owned by Wes Chain.
I couldn't stand to drive it cuz I knew how rare it was.
Looking for a driver too, and am watching for a CV Sport.
The next best thing to a Marauder...

Congrats on your purchase, believe me they are great cars. And easy to modified too. I still have mine, and it's an everyday car. Added lots of goodies along the way.
