And "retard"? That's pretty classless. I'm not sure about 300hp in a fwd car either, but it's no longer 1950 and the derogatory use of that word is flat-out offensive.

Mind you, I'd much rather have my Mercurys than that Honda, but in the business of selling cars, Honda is far from dumb.
Gotta agree with the above post. I too would not own that car if given to me, but what I do appreciate is that they are at least attempting to go after a niche market who appreciate cars for more than a mode of transportation.

    JEEZ!

    Don't get all butt-hurt!

Did I violate the 'PC' police guidelines or something!?

I'll continue to use the word 'Retard' because I was born in the 50's and the word doesn't offend me....sorry if it offends you.

BTW: I will ridicule that clapped out Ricer Type 'R' as much as I want...including its' THREE tailpipes on a 4 cylinder car!

    Honda makes and sells millions of fuel efficient, dependable, boring, soulless road going appliances...nothing wrong with that;
but a vast majority of the lemmings who buy Hondas repeatedly prove to me daily that they have no clue and no right to be behind the wheel driving.

While my dislike for this car doesn't take on "Walsh-ian" proportions, we all have to remember that we old fogies are not the intended market for it. The target market is likely 18-34. As the esteemed Mr. Gerard said above, at least they're building a version with increased performance, instead of another Dodge Dart.

Here comes more 'Walsh-ian' Ricer venom!....

Listen to this badazz 3 piped wonder!

    http://autoweek.com/article/car-news...n=awdailydrive

That godawful sound is the result of Honda's: “Center-Exit Triple-Exhaust Tip System.” or CETETS....yeah right! ...

Can't wait to be annoyed by this weed wacker sound buzzing in my ears!.....

What I really love is how Honda has totally missed their target audience/buyer!
The only people that this hideous, riced out 'styling' will appeal to is a bunch of 18-25 year old Ricer Wankers* ....who CAN'T afford a $35,000 Civic!...

    (*I won't use 'Retards' anymore)

So when I drive by your house later this year and there is one of these things parked in your driveway I'll expect you to just hand me the keys to the Cobra without a word.

I like the new civics way better than the previous gen. Agree the wing has to go! I like it other than the wing. I'd rather have a Golf R in the sports compact segmen in that power range. I have to disagree not the ugliest the Pontiac Aztec now that thing was hidious!
