I can't be the only one with a hole in back left side of the driver side seat, can I? How common is this problem? Mine had it when I bought the car but it seems to be getting bigger. Any quick fix or recommendations, besides dieting and making my ass smaller? -thx!

It is common. The seat cover doesn't have any padding between the leather and the seat frame next to the hinge. A lot of us had it repaired under warranty way back in '03-'04.If you can find a good seat cover, replace yours and add some padding in that spot. Some thick leather works good, like maybe from an old belt that won't fit any more :-)
