Without Chuck Berry there would have been no Beatles.

I saw Jerry Lee Lewis in concert, so Rock N' Roll is not dead.
I also saw Elvis at the gas station buying a Twinkie, so Rock N' Roll ain't dead.

It's dead dude, IMO. Doesn't mean I'm correct.
The killer is still alive, hope to see him since he is the last man standing.
Did you really meet Elvis? I had a college professor that claimed to meet him in the army.

Don't be sad, he was 90.

The Beach Boys used a Chuck Berry tune to write "Surfin USA". I saw Chuck at the Mosque Theater in Newark when I was a teen (many, many moons ago).
As long as I have those memories, Chuck is still alive.
Elvis is working at the 7-Eleven in Falmouth MA.

I still remember my introduction to Chuck Berry.
1976...My first job...I was an 'Usher' at a local theater.
(Remember when theaters had 'Doormen' and 'Ushers'...?)
The Assistant Manager would take a broom and use it like a guitar, get down on one leg with the other leg stretched out in front of him and hop around the lobby pretending he was Chuck Berry!
I didn't know who Chuck Berry was until I saw him on a rerun of the Midnight Special show (remember that show!?)

Rock n' Roll ain't dead man. I just heard Winger is going back on tour!
HA!
I should text him a picture of Beavis and Butthead. He'll be pissed. Not kidding.
I get sad whenever a performer dies that I care about. No more rock n' roll, it's all EDM/computers. We might have the recordings, but lack the living man. Everyone can say he lives on all you want, but if there is no pulse, there is no life. That's at leave my view point. It's not like blowing up an engine in a car and you can bring it back to life with another engine, dead is dead.
